Cinnamon Stones Villa, a beautiful 4 bedroom, 4 ½ bath home designed and built in an elegant and traditional West Indian Design, sits high above Cinnamon Bay in the lush subtropical rainforest of Estate Catherineberg. The neighborhood is private and prestigious. Once you enter the private gates of Cinnamon Stones and the property, The views will take your breath away, encompassing Hans Lollick and Lovango to the west, north to Jost Van Dyke and West toward Tortola. Right below, you overlook Cinnamon Bays white sand beach, as well as Peter and Francis Bays. This special home itself sits among large granite rock outcroppings, that are covered with tropical greens. You've arrived.. paradise for the week. Large louvered doors enclose the spaces, opening to take advantage of the cooling tradewinds and bring in those incredible views.
As you cross the threshold and come through the covered veranda, the Great Room welcomes you, surrounded by six large mahogany doors handcrafted here on St John. Open them and enjoy the views from sun up to twilight. A huge open air gallery wraps around the great room, replete with comfortable arm chairs and even a hammock for relaxing and watching the sailboats glide by. A large and comfortable sectional sofa anchors the room with additional side seating. This gathering space has a 40 inch TV, for when you need to check in with the rest of the world. The adjacent dining space has a large handmade wooden table that seats 8.
The kitchen is large and well equipped, with gas oven and range built into the island, refrigerator with icemaker and plenty of appliances. A large pantry sits off of the kitchen, for storage of pots and pans and other large items. There is also a small office adjacent this space as well, so if you need to work, you can.
Just across the covered terrace is the Master Suite. With a king size 4 poster mahogany bed and attractive furnishings and television.. the suite is a great escape. A large screened deck sits out in front, with a rocker and armchair to enjoy the views. The master bath has a large screened outdoor shower, also with those incredible views.
On the deck below is the 40 X 8 heated lap pool and hot tub. Also on the lower deck there are two roomy umbrellas that can be moved to shelter you from the sun as you lounge on the steps in the water and lounge chairs line the deck. There are also dining tables for an al fresco meal. The deck surfaces are all Trex, which assures cool feet even on hot days.
The laundry room off the pool deck has not only a washer/dryer, but also ice maker, ice bucket, drinkware and small refrigerator for cold drinks. There is also an adjacent full bathroom which opens onto the deck.
On this pool level are two large bedrooms each with a unique bathroom and walk-in closet.
The Rock Suite has a king size bed with plantation bed and large en suite bath. On the mahogany table is a 32" LCD TV. All doors have full sliding screens so that the louvered doors may be left open, if desired.
Adjacent to the Rock Suite is the Kids Suite, with three twin beds, ensuite bath and a pass through door to the Rock Suite, a perfect set up for small children.
The beautiful lower verandah has comfortable rockers and arm chairs with a hammock for afternoon naps.
A circular second stairway leads to the Great Room from the end of the verandah.
The Pool Suite has a king size four poster mahogany bed and en suite bath. There is a big comfortable wicker chair with footstool perfect for watching a movie on the 32” LCD TV. The bathroom is wonderful with a large shower with mahogany louvered doors which open to the hillside garden.
While the setting allows for naturally cooled rooms, Cinnamon Stones has full AC in all bedrooms, for your additional comfort.

My wife and I have made many trips to St John over the last 20 years. We have used several different agencies and also booked directly from villa owners. One thing we have come to expect is the island moves at a different pace than the mainland. However, the team at Destination St John turned that expectation upside down on our most recent visit. We decided to use our grill one night but discovered it was out of gas. They delivered a full tank the next morning! This is just one example. All interaction with them was prompt and courteous from initial booking to checkout. We will definitely be using them for future visits.

...The staff at Destination St. John were very nice, accommodating, and quick to respond to our (literally) last minute request. They had the villa cleaned & ready the next day, with a staff member ready to meet us & show us to the villa...they even put a very nice welcome basket of food/snacks in the refrigerator. Another villa rental company sent me a rude email saying they were too busy to schedule a cleaning service...I'm so glad we stayed with DSJ...Great service!...I plan to use them exclusively in the future.
