Designed in an elegant, yet casual style, The Last Resort invites guests to enjoy the large and inviting Great Room surrounded by a huge array of open-air spaces, with an outdoor living room, grilling station, seating areas throughout the many patios, perfect for relaxing and just soaking in the natural beauty surrounding you.

I can’t say enough about this villa! It was the most beautiful property with all of the amenities you could ask for! Views were breathtaking! The rooms were gorgeous and spacious and you had privacy if needed. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud- I even ordered the same sheets! Everything you could possibly need was provided at this villa. We will definitely be returning! |

We stayed at this majestic house in July 2022 and I can not say enough about this place. Every single detail was beyond perfect. The views from every single room, or area of the property were unforgettable. The pool overlooking the ocean was definitely one of my favorite spots - equipped with a pool bar and everything you need to enjoy the pool area. Not to mention the gourmet kitchen and outdoor kitchen areas for you, or a chef to enjoy. Again, not a single thing you could think of that was not available to us, or already perfect. The house was stocked with everything we needed for a an awesome time while there. The landscape and ambiance of the home made me feel very relaxed and the island vibe gave me so much joy. We had the best host and I know they strive to offer the most memorable experience. Each room is themed after the owners love for classic rock bands and we stayed in “Stairway to Heaven” and it was a stunning room with open shower/outdoor shower combined, as well as accommodated with 5 star linens and furnishings - which is the theme throughout the entire property. The beds were so comfortable and if you wanted to (but who would) sleep in, there were blackout curtains to ensure a good nights rest. I can’t say enough good things about this luxurious home and 10/10 would stay here again and again and will be recommending it to everyone I know. I hope you enjoy this property as much as I did! |

This summer while on vacation in the USVI our family had the opportunity to stay at “The Last Resort” on St. John island. This property ended up being one of the biggest highlights of our trip and most days we spent as much time hanging out there at the villa as we did running around the island and seeing some of its many attractions. The villa is ideally located less than 10 minutes from Cruz Bay which made trips into town for dining and shopping quick and easy yet it was still far enough away from town to give you a feeling of peace and solitude. It’s location also made trips to any of the many beaches and hiking trails or even the far side of the island relatively painless. The house itself is an amazing, sprawling villa located at the top of a hill overlooking the ocean on three sides of the property. This is probably the only place we have ever stayed where you could experience both an amazing sunrise and sunset every day that you were there. Each of the suites was as nice as some of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in and included amenities such as entertainment centers, plenty of A/C and both indoor and outdoor showers (a new, personal favorite). The owners have taken time to think of small details including having phone charging pads in each room as well as spare sun gear. One of the absolute coolest and most unique features on the property is that classic rock artist have been featured throughout the property and each suite as well as many of the common areas feature an amazing collection of rock memorabilia. Outside is an incredible two-level pool with swim up bar with an outdoor entertainment center. Our group included nine people but the property could easily accommodate probably twice that many with plenty of space to spread out or gather for dining, sunsets or just laying around in the pool with friends. I generally don’t take time to write too many reviews but this place deserved it as we’ve never been on vacation where everyone in the family agreed that the place we stayed was one of the best parts of the entire trip. Given everything that St. John and this villa has to offer I’m confident this won’t be our last trip to “The Last Resort”. |

We loved every minute of our stay at The Last Resort. The pictures DO NOT do this place justice! We traveled with 2 other families and had plenty of room and privacy. The way this house is set up, you can gather in the “main house” for all of the camaraderie and retreat back to your private suite for the privacy of your own room and private balcony. Truly the best of both worlds! The location of the house is just a short drive from all of our favorite beaches (Trunk Bay is a must!), the grocery store, and shopping but you are still getting the beautiful 360 degree view of the ocean. It isn’t often that you get the convenience of being so close to “town” AND that beautiful of a view. We feel so lucky to have found this house! Our group ranged from 1 years old to 65 years and there was something for all of us to do and enjoy at this house and in St. John. The teenagers loved the game room area, the adults loved the wrap around porch with the beautiful ocean views, our mom enjoyed the fully equipped large kitchen that she was able to cook us breakfast in each morning, and all of us appreciated the Classic Rock and Roll theme of the entire house. This was hands down one of the best trips I have ever spent with my family and friends and I will forever cherish the memories we made on this trip and in “The Last Resort”! |

My family had the pleasure of staying at The Last Resort this summer. I have traveled all over the world, and I can honestly say that this property was the most amazing place that I have ever stayed. The views and the ambiance were beyond breathtaking. From the moment we entered the gate, I knew that this was going to be a location that we would book each and every year. The location on the island is perfect. Located perfectly between chocolate hole and Harts Bay allowed us to enjoy 360 views of the perfection that God created. This home is a 10 out of 10 and I would recommend it to everyone! |

My wife and I have made many trips to St John over the last 20 years. We have used several different agencies and also booked directly from villa owners. One thing we have come to expect is the island moves at a different pace than the mainland. However, the team at Destination St John turned that expectation upside down on our most recent visit. We decided to use our grill one night but discovered it was out of gas. They delivered a full tank the next morning! This is just one example. All interaction with them was prompt and courteous from initial booking to checkout. We will definitely be using them for future visits. |

...The staff at Destination St. John were very nice, accommodating, and quick to respond to our (literally) last minute request. They had the villa cleaned & ready the next day, with a staff member ready to meet us & show us to the villa...they even put a very nice welcome basket of food/snacks in the refrigerator. Another villa rental company sent me a rude email saying they were too busy to schedule a cleaning service...I'm so glad we stayed with DSJ...Great service!...I plan to use them exclusively in the future. |

If property is recommitted for your dates, a 15% service fee will apply. No refunds will be issued within 60 days of arrival, under any circumstances.
